Hello, Computer.

Once, we imagined computers would greet us.

Now they answer.

§ 01Prologue

In the old films, the computer always spoke first. A soft chime, a blinking cursor, a voice that said hello. We spent forty years teaching machines to listen. Now, at last, they answer.

Hello Computer is a small company for software that feels like that first greeting: warm, curious, a little bit magical, and built to last. We keep things simple on the surface and do the hard work underneath, the way the best machines always have.

We don’t have a product to sell you yet. What we have is a feeling we’d like to bottle: the moment a computer stops being a tool and starts being company. Everything we make will begin with that moment, and with a single word.
